I was still the chaser. I’m the Hunted One now.

The dead came back. I had never imagined that I would see them again…

But they’re not here to assist.

The Great Horned God was evoked by Moll—the Wild Hunt began…

There’s only one choice I have: run, and hope I can survive the length of the chase.

My greatest chance? To go back to where everything began. I don’t want to go to the Order for help, but if they think that some pagan god is coming to Exeter, taking Moll with him, they’re going to have to get involved. If they hate somebody more than me, it’s Moll…

The means, of course, I’ll have to deal with them too.

Where is the saying going? My enemy’s enemy is… Yeah, that’s a bunch of shit. It’s always my enemy.

And from all directions, they are now closing in on me.
Bloody Gods is the fourth book in the Legacy of a Vampire Witch series by Theophilus Monroe. It doesn’t sparkle these vampires. You might end up with a character like Monroe’s Mercy Brown if Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles ever encountered the Mayfair witches. She’s a cruel, badass, snarky anti-hero straight from the worst of your nightmares. But you would nevertheless want to cheer for her!
